I started this website and started writing and reflecting in blog posts to help me grow as an educator and hopefully share some tips and inspiration to others along the way.

I have been inspired by this quote from Teresa Gross.

​In one of her blog posts she writes:
Then, start writing! Write for YOU and make it your own! It can be personal or professional. I reflect a lot on instructional practices, both what went well and what did not. We can learn and grow from one another when we are honest and transparent.

I have also been inspired by Matt Miller @ Ditch that Textbook.  He writes:
We can take what’s in our own brains and then be able to make it available to other people.  And if you think that what you are doing isn’t so different from what everybody else is doing, you have your own perspective, and you have your own experiences, and people really appreciate that.  So if you’ve got something that works in your classroom, I would encourage you to consider maybe making a screencast video about it and sharing it.
